Smoky Mountain High School senior Martha Neslen was crowned
homecoming queen by last year's winner, Krysta Buchanan, during
halftime Friday night. Neslen, chosen from a 12-member court
by the entire student body, is the daughter of Dr. Quayle Neslen
and Barbara Murray, both of Sylva. This year's maid of honor
is Jessie Woodard, daughter of Dickie and Kim Woodard of Sylva.
Tuscola's Mountaineers preserved their perfect season by handing
the Mustangs a 39-29 defeat. For complete game information,
