Daylong festival in downtown Sylva

8:30 a.m. - Registration for chainsaw contest, Mark Watson Park

9 a.m. - Craft vendors, demonstrations begin

9:30 a.m. - Spirit Filled

10 a.m. - Fiddling Dills Sisters and Cullowhee Valley Boys

11 a.m. - The Donnie Clay Band

11 a.m. - "Sisters of the Swish" Fashion Show at First Baptist Church

Noon Ceremony - Sesquicentennial Proclamation; Presentation of county flag; Dramatic reading of Sesquicentennial Proclamation by Howard Allman; introduction of festival royalty and student elected officials; speech by Jay Denton, chairman, Jackson County Commissioners
