A large crowd was on hand Friday evening (April 26) to witness the official dedication and ribbon-cutting for Main Street's Hooper House, new home of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce, Sylva Partners in Renewal, Jackson County Travel and Tourism Authority and the Jackson County Museum. Participating in the ribbon-cutting were, from left, John Horton of the N.C. Historical Preservation Office; Mary Moody, SPIR president; Lynn Minges, director, N.C.
