‘Bark in park’ is fun day for dogs, owners
Hundreds turned out to enjoy Sunday’s “Bark in the Park,” sponsored by the Western Carolina Dog Fanciers Association and the Jackson County Recreation and Parks Department. Contest participants included Annie Harlow, left, who entered two ARF puppies in the “Dog Kissing” category. Evangeline Womack, above, brought her poodle, and Noel Thurner, right, demonstrated dog-hair spinning.
