SM soccer team records shutout of E. Henderson
Smoky Mountain breezed to a 5-0 Western Athletic Conference victory over East Henderson on April 22 at Carr Hooper Stadium/Babe Howell Field.
“The win against East was some of the best soccer I’ve seen these girls play,” Coach Carolyn Warhaftig said. “Regardless of their opponent, they came out intense and never let up for 80 minutes. As a team, they earned every part of that win.”
Abi Jones opened the scoring at the 12:30 mark with an assist from Courtney Spaulding.
