SM golfers win tri-match
Smoky Mountain’s golf team won a three-way match on March 18 at The Ridges in Hayesville.
The Mustangs shot 186 followed by Hayesville (190) and Andrews (205).
Kameron Buchanan led the Mustangs with a 42, which was good for second overall. Jonathan Denton tied for third at 205.
“We’re happy to be 2-0,” Coach Si Simmons said. “We’re getting some improvement at the three, four and five positions, and Kameron and Jonathan continue to be strong.”
