Mustang Idol to be crowned Sunday

The first Mustang Idol will be crowned Sunday, March 30, at 5 p.m. in Southwestern Community College’s Myers Auditorium. All eight finalists will perform solo pieces and they will open the show with Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” Along with hearing from each contestant, audience members will get to see video clips from past shows and auditions. Cost is $5 for adults and $3 for children, with all proceeds going to the choral music department and the SMHS Show Choir’s trip to New York to sing in Carnegie Hall.
