Pottery fest termed ‘great day’ - Even before the morning fog lifted to reveal a beautiful fall day, a crowd had begun to form at the third annual Western North Carolina Pottery festival on Dillsboro’s Front Street. The event, the only all-day, all-pottery festival in WNC, included artists from seven states. The featured potter was Leon Nichols of Charlotte, who demonstrated his technique all day.
