Lady Mustangs finish second at conference swimming meet
Smoky Mountain’s women finished second in the Western Athletic Conference Swim Meet held Saturday at Asheville School.
The Lady Mustangs compiled 252 points, seven behind West Henderson’s 259. Brevard was third at 147 followed by North Henderson (126), East Henderson (122) and Pisgah (45).
The highlight of the day for SM was the women’s 400 free relay as the team of Paige Seago, Katie Hayes, Miranda Myers and Annelise Davis won in 4:46.7.
The Mustang men came in fourth. West Henderson was the winner with 301 points followed by East Henderson (210), Brevard (144), SM (89) and North Henderson (40).
