1996 FORD RANGER TRUCK
Tuckaseigee Water and Sewer Authority, 1246 West Main Street, Sylva, NC 28779 will accept sealed bids for a 1996 Ford Ranger truck until December 4, 2006 at 3:00 pm at which time the bids will be opened. Bids should include the bidders name, address nd phone number. The successful bidder will be notified by phone no later than December 5th. The truck can be inspected at the Administrative Office Monday - Friday, between the hours of 10:00 a.m and 3:00 p.m. Please check in at the Administrative Office before entering the maintenance area to inspect the truck.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Sylva Zoning Board of Adjustments will conduct a public hearing on December 7, 2006, at 6:30 p.m. in Municipal Hall, 83 Allen Street, Sylva, NC. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment concerning a Zoning Ordinance amendment application submitted by Lyle and Gladys Clark. The Clark's are requesting an amendment to the B-2 Business District permitted uses to allow for the development of climate controlled self storage facility on their parcel PIN: 7631-77-0475 located at 10 Wilkes Crescent Drive. Upon conclusion of the public hearing, the Zoning Board of Adjustments shall determine disposition of the application during the regularly scheduled town meeting at 7;00 p.m.

MEETING NOTICE
The Village of Forest Hills Council will not have their regular monthly meeting on December 4, 2006, nor a Christmas Party for the Village this year. The next regular meeting and public hearing will be on January 8, 2007, at the University Inn at 7 p.m. in Forest Hills. The subject of the meeting will include amendments to those sections of the Forest Hills zoning ordinance pertaining to storm water run-off and the appearance of property. Copies of the proposed changes are available at the University Inn, the Jackson County Public Library, and Hunter Library-Western Carolina University.

TO: SHERILL SCHMIDT, LICENSEE: TAKE NOTICE that the North Carolina Board of Nursing, in the above captioned matter, issued on September 29, 2006 a letter of charges alleging that you violated the Nursing Practice Act (Chapter 90 of the North Carolina General Statutes) and regulations enacted by the North Carolina Board of Nursing. The North Carolina Board of Nursing is seeking to revoke your license to practice nursing in North Carolina.
