Docia Garrett's 1956-57 kindergarten class, which met in the basement of St. John's Episcopal Church in Sylva. With Garrett are, from left, Becky Dewees, Janet Gibson, Hugh Raxter, Carolyn Wilson, Janis Stovall, Boyd Greer, Patrick McGuire, Katherine Dillard, Debbie Crawford, Keith Ramsey, Beverly Tucker and Teresa Dillard. Those who supplied names include Deanne Gibson Roles, Vicky Turpin, Dianne Buchanan, Kim Cowan, Rose Hair and Carolyn Wilson Colton.
