Then and now

Thanks to Regina Fisher and her son, Danny Fisher, who shared information about the photo published last week of a mid-1950s cemetery cleanup day. The cemetery is Dills Cemetery on Fisher Creek, and Danny and Regina identified everyone in the photo except two people. Men in the picture include, from left, Roy Fisher, Newt Dills, Edward Parris, Clyde Fisher, Lloyd Fisher (Danny Fisher’s father), Joe Cash, Charlie Dills, unknown, Harold Cooke and Guy Fisher. Women and children present that day include, from left, Blanche Ridley, Ida Dills, unknown, Judy Howell Edwards, Mary Sue Fisher Mason, Nannie Fisher Howell, Gursie Fisher, Eunice Fisher Parris, Carroll Bradley and Faye Dills.
