WCU freshmen to arrive Saturday

081706stillwell
Renovations to the Stillwell Science Building are just one of the changes students will find when they return to classes at Western Carolina University next week. In addition to the Stillwell facelift, WCU staff members have been busy installing new roofs on Breese Gym, McKee Building and Hunter Library and plan to install lights along the footpath to Norton Road Residence Hall. WCU faculty, staff and students are preparing to greet some 1,500 incoming freshmen, who will begin arriving Saturday. Housing Director Keith Corzine is rounding up volunteers to help with move-in day, and numerous activities are planned to help the new students adjust to campus life.
