All bids must be accompanied by a bid bond equal to five percent (5%) of the annual contract value and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or Bid Bond. No Bid Bond indicating an obligation of less than five percent (5%) by any method is acceptable. The successful Bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in North Carolina, in an amount equal to one eighth of the contract amount. Anticipated contract start date is January 2007.

The terms of the sale are that the real property hereinbefore described will be sold for cash to the highest bidder.
