Herald’s ‘Across the Mountains’ to be distributed free in Sylva, Dillsboro

The Sylva Herald’s new magazine, “Across the Mountains,” which made its debut in last week’s edition, will be available for free distribution this summer while supplies last.
The publication has been so well received that the newspaper elected to make another 7,000 copies available, said Herald Publisher Steve Gray.
“We’ve had nothing but positive feedback,” Gray said Monday. “We’ve had so many requests for additional copies that we decided to set up free distribution boxes for the magazine.”
Herald readers have complimented the magazine’s outstanding photography and interesting features, Gray said.
Those who missed “Across the Mountains” last week may look for it in front of The Herald, next to Lulu’s on Main, at Ingles and Harold’s supermarkets and at the Chamber of Commerce offices in Sylva and Dillsboro.
