Smoky Mountain sets fall sports schedules
Smoky Mountain has released a tenative schedule for upcoming fall sports seasons.
The football schedule is as follows:
Aug. 17 - Hendersonville at WCU; 25 - Swain.
Sept. 1 - at Hayesville; 8 - Murphy; 15 - at Franklin, 29 - Tuscola.
Oct. 6 - Brevard; 13 - at East Henderson; 20 - at North Henderson; 27 - West Henderson.
Nov. 3 - Pisgah.
The soccer schedule is as follows:
Aug. 21 - Owen; 23 - at North Buncombe; 24 - McDowell; 28 - Murphy; 30 - at Enka.
Sept. 5 - at Swain; 6 - Tuscola; 13 - Swain; 14 - at Owen; 18 - at Murphy; 20 - at Franklin; 25 - Brevard; 27 - East Henderson.
Oct. 2 - at North Henderson; 4 - West Henderson; 9 - at Pisgah; 11 - at Brevard; 16 - at East Henderson; 18 - North Henderson; 23 - at West Henderson; 25 - Pisgah.
The volleyball schedule is as follows:
Aug. 22 - at Tuscola; 24 - Franklin; 28 - Murphy; 29 - Enka.
Sept. 6 - at Murphy; 9 - at Swain; 11 - North Buncombe; 12 - at Franklin; 14 - Brevard; 18 - Tuscola; 19 - East Henderson; 21 - at North Henderson; 25 - Swain; 26 - West Henderson; 28 - at Pisgah.
Oct. 3 - at Brevard, 5 - at East Henderson; 10 - North Henderson; 12 - at West Henderson; 17 - Pisgah.
The cross country schedule is as follows:
Aug. 26 - at Western North Carolina Cross Country Carnival at Jackson Park, Hendersonville; 31 - at West Henderson.
Sept. 7 - at North Buncombe; 14 - at North Henderson; 21 - at Owen, Black Mountain Recreation Park; 28 - at Asheville Track Club, Carrier Park.
Oct. 5 - at Franklin; 12 - at Christ School; 19 - Western Athletic Conference; 28 - 2A Regional.
