EVERYONE IS INVITED to help celebrate Joe Rhinehart’s honorary doctorate from Georgetown College in Georgetown, Ky., during a 2 p.m. musical program Saturday, May 20, at 2 p.m. at Webster Methodist Church. Joe received the honor degree May 13 in Kentucky.

THE NEXT “SONGWRITERS IN THE ROUND” performance at Balsam Mountain Inn will be Saturday, May 20, and will feature three talented singer-songwriters – Alan Rhody, Dave Gibson and Mike Loudermilk. The songwriters’ sessions take place in the inn’s 100-seat restaurant and are accompanied by a gourmet dinner buffet. The evening begins at 7:30 p.m. Cover charge is $10 per person, plus dinner charge (about $25). Reservations are encouraged as most sessions sell out.
