Lady Knights rally past SM in softball
North Henderson scored seven runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to rally for a 9-4 Western Athletic Conference softball victory over Smoky Mountain on May 2 at North.
“They had some hits that we just couldn’t get to, and we had a few errors,” Coach Mark Taylor said. “It’s never over until it’s over. We haven’t given up many like that this year. It was disappointing, but we didn’t quit. It just didn’t go our way for whatever reason.”
