Show Choir’s New York fund-raiser is set for tonight

Smoky Mountain High School’s Show Choir will stage a 7 p.m. variety show tonight (Thursday) at Southwestern Community College’s Myers Auditorium as a fund-raiser for the group’s planned New York trip. Based on participation in the National Music Education Association’s national anthem project, the Show Choir was chosen for an educational field study trip to New York and will perform “The Star-Spangled Banner” for a New York Yankees-Baltimore Orioles game on Saturday, April 22.
