Spring photos wanted
The Sylva Herald invites area photographers to submit images that capture their vision of spring to the newspaper’s ninth annual “Mountain Spring” photo contest. Entries are due by 5 p.m. Thursday, April 13, and will be displayed at The Herald office during May and June. Winners will be announced during the Saturday, April 29, downtown Sylva Greening Up the Mountains festival. “Spring Lamb,” above, by Kathleen Wilson of Sylva, is a favorite image from last year’s contest.
