Think spring
It’s time to start sorting photos to choose entries for the upcoming ninth annual Sylva Herald “Mountan Spring” photo contest. Winners will be announced in conjunction with downtown Sylva’s Saturday, April 29, Greening Up the Mountains festival and published in The Sylva Herald during May and June. Entries will be displayed at the newspaper office. No entry fee is required, and each photographer may submit up to two images. Watch for complete contest information in next week’s edition. Entry blanks will be available beginning Friday, March 3, and 5 p.m. Thursday, April 13, is the deadline for submitting photos. – Herald photo by Nick Breedlove |
