The Jackson County Board of Commissioners will be available for public comment on Monday, February 6, 2006 at 5:45 p.m., Jackson County Justice & Administration Building, Board Room A227, 401 Grindstaff Cove Road, Sylva, North Carolina.
The purpose of this meeting is to solicit public input for the project including the description of the proposed project, project location, activities to be carried out, total cost of activities and financial design. Jackson County’s proposal is for $400,000.00 to be utilized for home rehabilitation and relocation of the most severe homes on a scattered site basis. It is expected that 5 low-income homeowners will be served through this program. The public is encouraged to make comments and recommendations concerning the proposed scattered site housing plan. To: Sylva Rebecca O’Steen, Charles Albert O’Steen Jr. and Mark Allstander and any other person claiming paternity of the above-named children.
You are hereby notified that the above-styled action, which seeks the termination of parental rights was filed against you in said Juvenile Court in Camden County, Georgia on the 10th day of January, 2006. The petition alleges that the above-named children are deprived children and that it would be in the children’s best interest that the parent’s parental rights be terminated. A copy of the petition may be obtained from the Clerk of Camden County Juvenile Court. The children are currently in the temporary custody of the Camden County Department of Family and Children Services.
