Bluegrass jam session
A performance by the Bailey Mountain Trio will open up the old-time and bluegrass music jam session scheduled for 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 2, at Western Carolina University’s Mountain Heritage Center. The trio includes fiddler Roger Howell, guitarist Carol Mallett-Rifkin and bassist Buddy Davis. After the trio performs, the regular jam session will take place with area pickers and singers invited to participate. The event is also open to anyone who just wants to come and listen.
