A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, October 24th beginning at 6 P.M. at the Dillsboro Town Hall on an undated Zoning Ordinance. Following the Public Hearing a Special Meeting of the Dillsboro Town Board will consider action on the Zoning Ordinance. All interested parties are invited to attend.

A copy of the proposed Zoning Ordinance is available for viewing at the Town Hall or the Jackson County Library in Sylva during normal business hours.

Separate invited sealed bids for the following project:

Demolition of existing sidewalk and curb and the installation of new curb and gutter, sidewalk, concrete pavers and landscaping along a 730’ +/- segment of Mill Street in Sylva, NC.

Bids will be received by the Town Of Sylva at the Sylva Town Hall, 83 Allen Street, Sylva, NC 28779, until 2 PM, Local Time, on November 3, 2005, and then at said time publicly opened and read aloud.

The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities and to reject any or all bids.

With his bid, each Bidder must deposit security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the amount of the bid, subject to the conditions stated in the Instructions to Bidders.

No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof.

A portion of this project is funded by a grant from the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
