A Public Hearing will be held on Monday, October 24th beginning at 6 P.M. at the Dillsboro Town Hall on an undated Zoning Ordinance. Following the Public Hearing a Special Meeting of the Dillsboro Town Board will consider action on the Zoning Ordinance. All interested parties are invited to attend.
A copy of the proposed Zoning Ordinance is available for viewing at the Town Hall or the Jackson County Library in Sylva during normal business hours.

The Jackson County Board of Commissioners, the Town of Sylva, the Town of Webster, the Town of Dillsboro, and the Village of Forest Hills, will hold a multi-jurisdictional meeting on Tuesday, October 11, 2005, 6:00 p.m., Room A201, Justice & Administration Building, 401 Grindstaff Cove Road, Sylva, North Carolina.
This is a semi-annual joint meeting to discuss matters, which any one of the units feels to be of interest, potential benefit or potential harm to any or all of the other units.

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will hold the above Citizens Informational Workshop on Tuesday, October 11, 2005 between the hours of 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. in Room 215 of the Jackson County Administrative Building, 401 Grindstaff Cove Road, Sylva.
The purpose of this workshop is for NCDOT representatives to provide information, answer questions, and accept written comments regarding this project. NCDOT proposes to replace Bridge 123 on SR 1437 (Hospital Road) over Scotts Creek.
