Jackson County North Carolina is requesting proposals for administrative assistance services required for the Crisis Housing Assistance Funds (CHAF Program).
Jackson County is anticipating receiving funds CHAF Program, Hurricane Recovery Act of 2005 to affect structural repairs and replacements to flood damaged homes in Jackson County caused by Frances and Ivan.

PUBLIC NOTICE
The Town of Sylva Zoning Board of Adjustments shall conduct a public hearing at 6:30 pm on October 6, 2005 in Municipal Hall, 83 Allen Street. The purpose of the hearing is to receive public comment concerning two zoning ordinance variance requests from Land Planning Associates, Inc. and Jemsite Development, LLC; representatives for Lowe's Home Center, Inc. The first application pertains to Article 400, Sign Regulations governing maximum allowable wall signage for the B-3 Business District. The second application pertains to Article 300, Off-Street Parking and Loading. Disposition of the request's shall be an agenda item for the following monthly town meeting at 7:00 pm.

This is a semi-annual joint meeting to discuss matters, which any one of the units feels to be of interest, potential benefit or potential harm to any or all of the other units.
