Preparing to splash
Rachel Sullivan, age 6, is poised to make a big splash off the diving board Tuesday (June 7) at the Sylva swimming pool. School ended last week, setting local kids free to enjoy their vacation, but recent rainy weather has limited pool-related fun. That changed with Tuesday’s sunny skies, and Rachel and other area youngsters lined up to take their turn.
