Construction closes Main Street
N.C. DOT personnel continue work on Main Street early Wednesday morning to replace a drainage culvert in front of The Sylva Herald office. The construction closed Sylva’s principal traffic artery at 6 p.m. March 22 and it remained closed at press time, though it was expected to reopen sometime Wednesday.
