Smoky Mountain's Nick Cox and Megan Owens both qualified for the State 3-A Swim Meet in two events with their showings in Friday's Western 3-A Regionals at Huntersville.
The state meet is set for Saturday in Chapel Hill.
"They did great," Coach Sandy Wade said. "All of my swimmers had their best times."
Smoky Mountain's Megan Owens finished third in the 100 freestyle and fourth in the 200 free in Friday's Western 3-A Swim Regionals at Huntersville. The performances qualified her to swim in Saturday's State 3-A Meet at Chapel Hill.
