Herald announces holiday schedule
The Sylva Herald offices and printing plant will be closed Thursday and Friday, Dec. 23 and 24, to allow employees to enjoy the holiday season with their families.
Deadlines, both news and advertising, for the Dec. 30 issue will be unaffected with the exception of society news, which will need to be in our office by Wednesday, Dec. 22, to be included in the Dec. 30 edition. Other news deadlines for that edition will be Monday, Dec. 27, at noon. Classified, legal and real estate advertising is also due Monday at noon. Display advertising deadline will remain Tuesday at noon.
The newspaper will also be closed Friday, Dec. 31. Society news intended for the Jan. 6 edition should be received by Thursday, Dec. 30.
