Court officials, staff bid Frank Watson farewell
Resident Superior Court Judge Marlene Hyatt (top photo) presided over the final court appearnace of Frank Watson Jr., (left in right photo) Jackson County's Clerk of Court for the past 26 years. Assistant Clerk Ann Melton (bottom left) and the Clerk's staff (bottom right) serenaded Watson with a tune they composed for the occasion. A large crowd including local elected officials and others was on hand last Thursday (Sept. 30) to bid farewell to Watson, elected clerk for seven straight terms.
