County commissioners ink deal on library site; discuss junkyard ordinance again - The county has entered into an agreement that should result in a new public library at Jackson Plaza. Commissioners’ Chairman Stacy Buchanan announced Tuesday (Sept. 14) that officials have entered into a preliminary contract to purchase 1.4 acres of the old Western Sizzlin’ site from the Grindstaff family.
