What’s wrong with this picture?

Recent roadwork has left signage at the west intersection of Main and Mill streets vague enough that at least four cars have headed the wrong way – west, toward the Courthouse – on Main Street, endangering themselves and others. We hope when construction, paving and marking are completed, there will be a sign marked “Do Not Enter” or a “One Way” to help motorists find the (right) way.
