$500 reward offered in locating Sylva man
 The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the location of Howie Claude Carver, 32.
Carver is charged with manufacturing crystal meth. He is described as 5 feet, 11 inches with brown hair and blue eyes.
He was last seen in the area around July 21, according to Capt. Steve Lillard of the Sheriff’s Office.
Carver’s last known address was on Dandelion Drive, across from Ochre Hill Baptist Church.
Anyone with information about Carver is asked to call Capt. Lillard at 586-1382.
