TOM ROBBINS, best-selling author of Another Roadside Attraction, Even Cowgirls Get the Blues and six other novels, will read and sign books at City Lights Saturday, June 26, at 6 p.m. Reserve your place in the book-signing line by pre-ordering any Robbins title from the Sylva bookstore. A SCHOLARSHIP presented in honor of Paul Buchanan of Sylva was recently awarded to Heather Fields of East Bend, a recent graduate of Forbush High School. The R.P. Buchanan Scholarship honors Buchanan for his service as principal of Yadkinville High School from 1947-1963.
