Haywood man drowns after incident at Bear Lake

A Haywood County man is dead after an incident Friday at Bear Lake.

Jeremy Shane Littrell, 28, of Waynesville's Allens Creek community, drowned June 14 while trying to swim to shore, said Jackson County Sheriff Jim Cruzan.
