GET YOUR TICKETS NOW for the 30th annual North Carolina State Bluegrass Festival, to be held Thursday, June 17, through Saturday, June 19, at Happy Holiday Campground, located 4 miles east of Cherokee on U.S. 19. The three-day event will feature an all-star cast of pickers including Ricky Skaggs and Kentucky Thunder, Doyle Lawson and Quicksilver, Connie Smith, Jesse McReynolds, and Charlie Waller and the Country Gentlemen. The show will go on rain or shine. Bring lawn chairs. Daily ticket prices are $30 for adults; three-day adult tickets are $70 in advance and $80 at the gate. Children’s tickets (age 6-13) are $15 per day or $30 for three days. Kids under 6 are free when accompanied by their parents.
