Patrol honors Ashe

Jackson County Sheriff Jimmy Ashe, left, received a plaque from the N.C. Highway Patrol for cooperatively working in a mobile field force unit in events involving the Kansas-based Westboro Baptist Church when members picketed performances of The Laramie Project at Western Carolina University April 23-24.
