Swain golfers edge Mustangs

Swain edged Smoky Mountain's golfers 174-177 Friday at Smoky Mountain Country Club.

SM's Jared Brooks and Swain's Derrick Davis tied for medalist honors at 40.

Completing the Mustangs' top four were Nick Cox (42), Aaron Shufelt (47) and Justin Kirkland (48).

"Jared played very well," Coach Joe Denton said.
