News Deadlines
ALL news submissions to The Sylva Herald - including wedding, engagement and anniversary announcements - should be received by noon Monday in order to be considered for that week's newspaper.
Every effort will be made to include news of upcoming events the week it is submitted, and society news will generally be published the week it is received.
Other submissions will be published in the order they are received but not necessarily during the week they are received.
Early deadlines may be in effect during holiday weeks.
Advertising Deadlines
CLASSIFIED and LEGAL advertising must be received by noon Tuesday. No exceptions.
DISPLAY advertising is also due by noon Tuesday with the exception of real esate ads, which are due by noon Monday.
