SPIR director to be Sylva's first town manager

Sylva officials made history last Thursday (Jan. 3) when they tapped the director of Sylva Partners in Renewal to be the town's first-ever professional manager.

Richard McHargue, who has led SPIR for the past 15 months, will begin his new duties Monday.
